Saubhagya Scheme: Features, Benefits, and Challenges Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 September 2017 launched the Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana. which is alternatively known as -“Saubhagya”. The mandate of the scheme is to achieve universal household electrification in the country by the end of 2018.
